Mahapadav Continues Strongly Into Second Day | Press Release in English, Hindi and Punjabi

The second day of the Mahapadav- Mass Sit-in Struggle called by Samyukta  Kisan Morcha and Joint Platform of Central Trade Unions/ Federations witnessed more massive participation across the country. Thousands of farmers and workers have cooked  food for the day, stayed the night in the tractor trolleys or makeshift tents in the Mahapadav site to join the struggle on the second day. More farmers and workers have joined today. The Mahapadav is going on in all the State capitals except the poll bound States endorses the political importance of the unity of the workers and farmers when the prople are suffering under the Modi Government. The coming together of the platforms of workers and farmers with specific demand charter and plan of action is happening for the first time in the history of Independent India.

The all-India leaders of the platforms of both workers and farmers have addressed the masses and focused on the need of addressing the lingering acute agrarian crisis and the resultant rural to urban migration of the pauperised peasantry and rural worker masses. The neo-liberal policies are the genesis of the agrarian crisis. Its disatrous impacts spoil the life of not only the peasantry but workers and youth too. The large scale migration causes conducive environment for unbridled unemployment, large scale privatisation of PSUs, contractualisation and denial of basic rights of workers such as minimum wage, employment security, statutory old age pension, right to form association, collective bargaining and the right to strike. Thus eliminating the agrarian crisis has become the joint responsibility of the farmers as well as the workers.

The Agrarian Crisis and the related policy of Corporatisation of Agriculture have become the main political issue  at the all India level. Hence, the campaign and struggles will be further extended to all villages, towns and households of each worker and farmer in the days to come.

The BJP led Modi Government is unleasing brutal attack on the lives and livlihoods of the workers and farmers to facilitate corporate exploitation and profiteering. Also, the BJP- RSS combine is relying up on communal politics based on hate campign and communal riots to crush the unity of workers and farmers. The growing unity of the farmers and workers only can challange the twin danger of Corporate – Communal nexus and save the country.  The grand succes of the Farmer- Worker Mahapadav has helped to fill confidence in the minds of the entire toiling people.

The workers and farmers will end the Mahapadav by marching towards the Raj Bhawans on 28th November 2023. More workers and farmers will participate and the Joint Declaration and Charter of 21 Demands will be submitted to the respective Governors.

नई दिल्ली। संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा और केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों/फेडरेशनों के संयुक्त मंच द्वारा बुलाए गए महापड़ाव-सामूहिक धरना-संघर्ष के दूसरे दिन देश भर में किसानों और मजदूरों की बड़े पैमाने पर भागीदारी देखी गई। दूसरे दिन के संघर्ष में शामिल होने के लिए हजारों किसानों और श्रमिकों ने दिन के लिए खाना पकाया, रात को महापड़ाव स्थल पर ट्रैक्टर ट्रॉलियों या अस्थायी टेंटों में रुके। कल की तुलना में आज और अधिक किसान और मजदूर महापड़ाव में शामिल हुए। चुनावी राज्यों को छोड़कर सभी राज्यों की राजधानियों में महापड़ाव चल रहा है। मोदी सरकार की जन विरोधी नीतियों से पीड़ित मजदूरों और किसानों का विशिष्ट मांगपत्र और कार्ययोजना के साथ एक मंच पर साथ आना स्वतंत्र भारत के इतिहास में पहली बार हो रहा है। यह मजदूरों और किसानों की एकता के राजनीतिक महत्व को रेखांकित करता है।

इन महापड़ावों के संयुक्त मंच को मजदूरों और किसानों के संगठनों के अखिल भारतीय नेताओं ने संबोधित किया है और लंबे समय से चल रहे गंभीर कृषि संकट और इसके परिणामस्वरूप गांवों से शहरों की ओर गरीब किसानों और ग्रामीण मजदूरों के पलायन के मुद्दे पर अपना ध्यान केंद्रित किया है। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में बताया है कि किस तरह नव-उदारवादी नीतियां कृषि संकट को पैदा कर रही हैं। इसके विनाशकारी प्रभावों ने न केवल किसानों, बल्कि मजदूरों और युवाओं का जीवन भी बर्बाद कर दिया है। इन नीतियों के कारण बड़े पैमाने पर प्रवासन, बेलगाम बेरोजगारी, सार्वजनिक उपक्रमों के निजीकरण, संविदाकरण और श्रमिकों के बुनियादी अधिकारों जैसे न्यूनतम वेतन, रोजगार सुरक्षा, वृद्धावस्था पेंशन, संघ बनाने का अधिकार, सामूहिक सौदेबाजी और हड़ताल के अधिकार से वंचित होने की परिस्थितियां पैदा हुई हैं। ऐसे में कृषि संकट को दूर करना किसानों के साथ-साथ मजदूरों की भी संयुक्त जिम्मेदारी बन गई है।

आज कृषि संकट और कृषि के निगमीकरण की नीति अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर मुख्य राजनीतिक मुद्दा बन गई है। इसलिए, आने वाले दिनों में अभियान और संघर्ष को सभी गांवों, कस्बों और हर मजदूर और किसान के घरों तक बढ़ाया जाएगा।

भाजपा के नेतृत्व वाली मोदी सरकार कॉर्पोरेट शोषण और मुनाफाखोरी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए मजदूरों और किसानों के जीवन और आजीविका पर क्रूर हमला कर रही है। इसके अलावा, भाजपा-आरएसएस गठबंधन मजदूरों और किसानों की एकता को कुचलने के लिए नफरत भरे अभियान और सांप्रदायिक दंगों पर आधारित सांप्रदायिक राजनीति पर भरोसा कर रहा है। किसानों और मजदूरों की बढ़ती एकता ही कॉर्पोरेट-सांप्रदायिक गठजोड़ के दोहरे खतरे को चुनौती दे सकती है और देश को बचा सकती है। किसान-मजदूर महापड़ाव की शानदार सफलता ने पूरे मेहनतकश लोगों के मन में आत्मविश्वास भरने में मदद की है।

मजदूर और किसान कल 28 नवंबर 2023 को राजभवनों की ओर मार्च करके महापड़ाव समाप्त करेंगे। इसमें भारी संख्या में अधिकाधिक मजदूर और किसान भाग लेंगे और 21 मांगों का संयुक्त घोषणा पत्र और चार्टर संबंधित राज्यपालों को सौंपा जाएगा।

ਮਹਾਂਪਦਵ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ- ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਟਰੇਡ ਯੂਨੀਅਨਾਂ/ਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਧਰਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿਨ ਭਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਪਕਾਇਆ, ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਟਰਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਪਦਵ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਟੈਂਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰੇ। ਅੱਜ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਂਪਦਵ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਲੋਕ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਨ, ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਖਾਸ ਮੰਗ ਪੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕਠਿਆਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਲੀਡਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਖੇਤੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਪਰਵਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਨਵ-ਉਦਾਰਵਾਦੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਖੇਤੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਢ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਬਲਕਿ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਿਗਾੜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਸ ਬੇਲਗਾਮ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ, ਜਨਤਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿੱਜੀਕਰਨ, ਠੇਕਾਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਉਜਰਤ, ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਬੁਢਾਪਾ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ, ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ, ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਸੌਦੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। . ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਤੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਖੇਤੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟੀਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਨੀਤੀ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ, ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਨਾਫਾਖੋਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ‘ਤੇ ਬੇਰਹਿਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਭਾਜਪਾ-ਆਰਐਸਐਸ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਦੰਗਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਫਿਰਕੂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ-ਫਿਰਕੂ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਰੇ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨ-ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਮਹਾਂਪਦਵ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਮਿਹਨਤਕਸ਼ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਭਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ 28 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਭਵਨ ਵੱਲ ਮਾਰਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਹਾਂਪਦਵ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ 21 ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਐਲਾਨਨਾਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰਟਰ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਰਾਜਪਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
