Hike in prices of petrol and diesel

All India Kisan Sabha strongly protests the hike in prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 2.5 and Rs 2.26 per litter respectively. This is going to increase hugs burden on the lives of farmers who have to use the diesel  for drawing water for irrigation . When the major parts of the country are facing severe drought situation this hike is going to further worsening the situation for farmers and people at large.

This is very sour gift to people from Modi Government after completion of their two years in office. We also protest the method of earning profit by government through regular hikes in duties of petroleum products.

The AIKS calls upon all its units to protest against this hike uniting with other sister organisations.

AIKS also strongly protest the hike of 0.5% cess in all service tax in name of so-called helping agriculture, which will increase the burdens on all the people using any service.
