AIKS demands RSS and BJP to stop violence in Tripura

Calls up on the people of Tripura to bravely defend democratic rights and right for protection of life- Solidarity protest action called for across the country

All India Kisan Sabha strongly protest unleashing of terror and violence by RSS-BJP hooligans in Tripura on the activists of Kisan Sabha, trade unions and various mass and class organizations and the workers of the Left parties. The massive attack started just after the assembly election results are out on 3rd March is still continuing and as per the latest report around 1700 houses and party and mass and class organization offices were ransacked and burnt down. The Saffron hooligans have captured many offices and creating terror atmosphere in many villages. Many left activists have received serious injury and got hospitalized.

The BJP-RSS combine has no shame in joining hands with anti-national forces of IPFT supported by terrorist and separatist forces and US imperialism, receiving foreign funding and has the tradition of killing hundreds of innocent citizen of our country in the past through extremist attacks by hiding on the soil of Bangladesh. The election victory of BJP-IPFT has no moral value. To divert the attention of the people from discussing this anti national act for electoral gains, the RSS-BJP hooligans are unleashing violent attacks on the innocent activists of the Left movement in Tripura.
The AIKS strongly demand the concerned authorities in Tripura and the Union Government to stop this inhuman and undemocratic attack on the people immediately. RSS and BJP must stop the violence. The people of Tripura has the tradition of resisting all extremist and semi fascist attack on them and this time also the people will resist the terror and will emerge victorious.

AIKS calls upon its members and activists in Tripura to come forward and resist the hooligans to protect the democratic rights and right for protection of life of the people. The leaders and office bearers of AIKS will visit the injured and those who lost houses and all the victims of the violence.
AIKS calls upon all its units across the country to organize various forms of protest actions independently and also by joining with other Left and Democratic forces against the authoritarian and semi-fascist terror of RSS-BJP combine.
