Kisan Sabha in Every Village; Every Kisan in Kisan Sabha!

In the midst of the dense forest of Ankola Taluk of Uttara Kannada District lies the Village Brahmura Kabagaala. It is a difficult terrain and not easily accessible. In line with the 34th AIKS Conference call to set up Kisan Sabha in every village and try and enrol all Kisans in it the KPRS took initiative to form the Village unit. The Village unit of Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha (affiliated to AIKS) was inaugurated by Shantaram Nayak, District President. KPRS has been leading the fight for land and recognition of Tribal people in the ST list in this region.
