Massive Crackdown on Kisans in Rajasthan! Rise in Solidarity and Protest
The cowardly Vasundhara Raje led BJP Government has launched a massive Crackdown on Kisans in the State. Kisan Sabha leaders including AIKS Vice President Amra Ram, Rajasthan Kisan Sabha President and Secretary Pema Ram and Chhagan Choudhary, Sheopat, Pawan Duggal and veteran leader Hetram Beniwal have been arrested. Protests are on in all districts. Kisans who reached Jaipur for the Mahapadav have also been arrested and taken to some undisclosed destination.
The massive response of the peasantry has instilled fear in the BJP and the repression unleashed has only strengthened the resolve of the peasantry. AIKS demands immediate release of all arrested and the BJP Government stop betrayal and implement promises made to the peasantry. Protests will go on till the demands are met.
