Glimpses of the massive potato farmers’ agitation at Jamalpur and Satgachiya in Purba Barddhaman District, West Bengal. AIKS West Bengal state committee secretary Comrade Amal Halder, Comrade Abdar Rezzak Mondal, Comrade Sayed Hossain were present.

Demands –

Loan Waiver.
Government of WB must have to give compensation to all farmers whose crops are damaged due to heavy rain fall and pest attack.
Government must have to give the remunerative price of potato according to Swaminathan Commission.
Government must have to give 10 Lac rupees compensation to each farmer’s family who has committed suicide.
