Viral video shows plight of apple farmer in Kashmir after snowfall destroys crop

On November 3, Kashmir experienced the season’s first snowfall much to the delight of those visiting the Valley. However, the early snowfall has gravely affected the fruits and horticulture industry.

The All India Kisan Sabha, which claims to be India’s largest peasant organisation, highlighted the massive losses suffered by farmers by sharing a heart-wrenching video of a young Kashmiri farmer grieving the loss of his crop.
