Farmers Filing Nominations In Varanasi Is A Strong Symbolic Fight Against The PM
Around one hundred farmers from Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, travelled all the way to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to file their candidature against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his home turf. Though most of the nominations were rejected on technical grounds, All India Kisan Sabha leader Vijoo Krishnan says the current “state of the agrarian crisis” will be a decisive factor in the 2019 elections.
