Farmers’ core committee to hold protest on Friday – Mumbai Mirror

Dr Ajit Navle, convener of the core committee, told Mumbai Mirror, “On the day of Balipratipada , farmers will celebrate Diwali by rallying bullock carts in every village. Bali is considered as king of the farmers, so we will pray that the Bali’s kingdom of prosperity and equality should be back. After the rallies, the farmers will visit the nearest police station and demand filing of a criminal case against the state government as it is responsible for suicides by farmers.”
