AIKS Strongly Condemns Horrific Terror Attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir
The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) strongly condemns the brutal massacre of 25 tourists and a Kashmiri tourism worker in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir by terrorists. The AIKS extends heartfelt condolences to the families of the innocent people who lost their lives in the attack. Many people have suffered injuries in the attack and are recuperating in different hospitals. The AIKS extends wishes for their speedy recovery. AIKS demands that the Union Government must provide adequate compensation to the families of the victims and provide all help to the injured.
The AIKS demands that Union Government which is controlling the security forces and police should effectively investigate and apprehend the perpetrators of this barbaric crime. All possible angles should be investigated. The Union Government should also look into serious security lapses as pointed out by military veterans and other experts with considerable field experience.
AIKS notes that the Kashmiri society came out to support the victims and unequivocally condemned the terrorist attack. Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a Kashmiri tourism worker resisted the armed terrorists, came to the defence of the tourists and sacrificed his life. Unfortunately, certain sections are trying to use this national tragedy to create religious divisions in the society. This will only strengthen the sinister agenda of the terrorists to sow hatred between communities. AIKS calls upon all sections to stand united against the extremist forces and rebuff attempts of divisive forces.
