AIKS holds Rally in Palghar District on Day of Betrayal

Today the All India Kisan Sabha held a large rally and meeting in Talasari, Palghar district of Maharashtra registering its protest against the central government. The BJP government has failed to implement the demands of the farmers’ movement, as agreed during the historic protest against the three farm laws .  Samyukt Kisan Morcha gave the call to organise all India protests on 31 January, marking it as Vishwasghat Diwas or Day of Betrayal.

As part of the protest a memorandum was also submitted to the district administration by the AIKS. Comrade Vinod Nikole (MLA, Dahanu) was part of the delegation.

Protests were also held in other parts of Maharashtra. A joint demonstration was held by the AIKS and AIAWU at Shahada, in Nandurbar district.
