Worker-Peasant Day observed all over the country
NewDelhi: Thousands of workers and peasants across the country participated in demonstrations at different district head quarters on worker-peasant alliance day. It was decision of three organisations Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), All India Agriculture Workers Union (AIAWU) and All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) to observe 19th January, 2017 the 35th anniversary of the first countrywide general strike of 1982 as worker-peasant alliance day. The attacks on the right of the working class are escalating day by day by the authoritarian modi government. Working conditions for the workers & peasant is becoming tuff every day and the policy that government is adopting are just protecting the big corporate and avoiding the interests of working class. So it is a need of Hour to join together and combat anti people polices.
Thousands of workers & peasants holding red flags have been seen in the various cities of different states. In Bhiwani Hisar Fatehabad Kathal jind Rohtak districts of Haryana in Uttar Pradesh at Lucknow, five blocks of bakaro Jamtara Dumka Ghatshila in Singhbhoom Sahebaganj Ranchi of Jharkhand, Darbhanga Begusarai Bettiah Samastipur Jamui Vashali Nalanda Patna of Bihar, at Gwalior, Murena Indore Ratlam of Madhya Pradesh, at all the districts of Tamilnadu, Tripura, west Bengal, Kerala activists of all three organisation landed on roads. Thousands of worker-peasant gathered in the front of Odessa assembly in Bhubaneswar. As per report demonstrations was held in Telangana, Assam and Karnataka also.
