Tripura Burns: AIKS Reports on Attacks by BJP After Election Results
Massive terror attacks have been organised by the goons of the BJP upon the CPI(M) cadre, particularly among villagers and farmers . After getting a bare majority BJP goons started attacking the peasants. These terror attacks started just after the results were declared. Huge amounts of assets like houses household property and crops of one’s land were entirely destroyed by the goon attacks. A huge number of party comrades and AIKS members also have been seriously wounded and admitted to the hospital. Hundreds of comrades left their homes for safe places to save their lives.
Out of the affected Comrades, a lot of members of the All India Kisan Sabha state committee were also attacked by the goons of the BJP. Such as:
1. Sankar Debnath of Mekhleepara of Khoyerpur Constituency.
2. Sailendra Nath a newly elected MLA from Jubarajnagar severely affected due his rubber garden which was destroyed by the BJP goons. That rubber garden was the only source of income for Comrade Nath.
3. Kalindra Nath
4. Ajoy Nath.
5. Krishnendu Choudhury the CPIM Candidate from Chandipur, his house was also attacked and severely pulled down.

11. Sukhlal Debnath, all are from Parimal Chowhamoni (From sl.no 6 to 11, all from Bishalgarh Constituency)
12. Formar MLA Keshab Debbarma a State Committee member of CPIM as well as GMP attacked with his Personal Guard. Now he is admitted to the state referral hospital. 13 The house of Manik Das, a player of instrumental music of Khoyerpur totally destroyed on 4th March. Severe series of attacks organised in Boxanagar Constituency headed by defeated BJP Candidate Toffajjal Hossain. Affected Comrades are Asis Sarkar, Suresh Barman, and Ajit Barman. The fire fully destroyed their houses. The goons destroy the Rubber Garden of Nidhir Laskar and Pradip Das. The Shop of Alamin, Abu Nabi, Prabir Biswas (Book shop), and Roushan Ali was also looted by the goons of BJP. Other than that the houses of Khurshedur Rahman, Roushan Ali, Haradhan Sarkar and Rantan Das under attacked with bombs and looted. BJP goons headed by Tafajjal Hossain vandalised the Rahimpur Market, Manikya Market, Putia Market, Matinagar Market, and Boxanagar Market. These vandalisms continued by the goons using Cars without number plates, which is why such is called terror attacks. Other than those markets, the goons of BJP headed by Tafajjal Hossain forcefully closed the Kamalnagar and Amanda bazaar Market. After that, the goons of BJP again moved to the Middle Boxanagar area, where the local people lost their patience and resisted the goons and retaliated. These are the strongholds of AIKS.
On all occasions, the Police administration has failed to prevent the goons of the BJP. When AIKS declared strong resistance, then the Police attempted some action. But by that time, the goons of BJP headed by Tafajjal Hossain had almost completed their tremendous amount of asset loot.
In the election results, due to the division of votes between the opposition parties, BJP has got Marginal Majority in the 13th Assembly Election of Tripura. Of the 23 seats by Tipra Motha Party, one Seat by TMC and Amra Banglee helped the Party in Power by dividing the votes from Left and Congress Combined. The considerable amount of votes they collected has helped the BJP to get a narrow majority.
Other than Jitendra Choudhury, the CKC member of AIKS, another three state committee members like Com. Shamsul Haq, Com.Islamuddin and Com.Sailendra ch. Nath is also elected in the Assembly Election 2023.
