Kerala Solidarity Campaign Across India 11th – 21st December 2024

The State Units of the All India Kisan Sabha, Centre of Indian Trade Unions and All India Agricultural Workers’ Union collectively will observe Kerala Solidarity Campaign across India from 11th to 21st December 2024.

The campaign will focus on the pro-people achievements and alternatives of the LDF Government and expose the vindictive, authoritarian actions by the Union Government to suppress the rights of the people of Kerala including curtailment of borrowing limits and denying legitimate financial allocation threatening cooperative federalism.

Recently, the Union Government has refused to provide assistance to the victims of the Wayanad landslide disaster, claimed the lives of nearly 400 people. Despite the severity of the disaster, the Union Government declined Kerala’s request to declare it a national disaster and provide much-needed relief which is inhuman, a gross discrimination with no justification.

As part of the campaign, seminars are planned in State capitals/major cities .All India leaders of the three organizations will participate in the Seminars.
