AIKS Extends Solidarity to Samsung Workers’ Strike, Provides Lunch for Two Days

All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) Tiruvallur District committee led by its State Secretary B.Thulasi Narayan visited the ongoing protest movement site on 19th September 2024, by more than 1500 employees of Samsung factory at Sriperumbudur and expressed their solidarity with the ongoing struggle which entered into 11th day urging the Management to recognise the union and fulfill their legitimate demands.

Comrades G.Sampath, K.Nehru, B.Giridhar,K.Arjunan have also took part in the delegation. The AIKS leadership urged the state administration to resolve the legitimate demands and create a congenial atmosphere and enhance the working conditions of the struggling workers.

The AIKS Leadership also arranged Lunch for two days on 19th & 20th of September for the protesting employees of Samsung workers union.

The total cost for two days food was Rs 51350/= and it also assured that the AIKS would contribute more if necessary inorder to strengthen the working class and peasants unity.

The AIKS Leaders comrades B. Thulasi Narayan,G. Sampath & K. Nehru addressed the workers and expressed their solidarity with the ongoing movement.

It is noteworthy that AIKS National Vice President Com P.Shanmugam has already participated in this protest and expressed his solidarity on the 4th day of workers strike.
