If Government fails then peasantry will protect the family of the dairy farmer Pehlu Khan – Amraram

If Vasundare Raje Government of Rajsthan fails to do justice and give compensation then peasant households all over India will collect fund to protect the family of dairy farmer Pehlu Khan said  Amraram the president of AIKS.

Amra Ram sat on Dharna at Janter-Manter today protesting demanding arrest of all real culprits who killed Pehlu Khan a small dairy farmer. Khan was lynched by self proclaimed ‘gou rakshaks’at Alwar Rajasthan on 1st of April 2017.

Hundreds of presents attended the Dharna inaugurated by Hannan Mollah General Secretary of AIKS and presided over by N.K Shukla Joint Secretry of AIKS. Tapan Sen General Secretary of CITU, Vijayaraghavan General Secretary AIAWU, Sunit Chopra Joint-Secretary AIAWU, Mariam Dhawale General Secretary AIDWA, Vikram Singh General Secretary SFI, Balbir Prashar Treasurer DYFI, P.krishnaprasad Finance Secretary of AIKS, D.P Singh president of AIKS Uttar Pradesh, Gurcharan Mod finance secretary AIKS Rajasthan, Harpal Singh Secretary AIKS Haryana addressed the Dharna.

Amra Ram while addressing the Dharna said that Pehlu Khan was the head of family surviving by cultivating a small land and two cattle.  Giving compensation to the family and give strong massage to this reactionary force is the moral responsibility of the Government. AIKS demands Vasundhara Raje Government to give Rs. One Crore as compensation to the bereaved family of Pehlu Khan and Rs.25 lakhs each to the other victims and one Government job to one of Pehlu khan family member. Amra Ram said if government fails to provide compensation Kisan Sabha will collect fund from farmers of entire country to help the family of Pehlu Khan.

Amra Ram said Livestock is one of the main economical income sources of peasants and the attack on this will collapse the rural economy. Right of farmers on cattle trade must be approved by the government and all the cattle markets which were closed by different BJP led state government must be re-opened.

AIKS General Secretary Hannan Mollah said that organisations like Vishv Hindu Prishad, Bajrang Dal and RSS are misusing the issue of protection of cow as communal issue to divide the people. The peasants were keeping and trading cattle’s for thousands of years before the Birth of RSS.
