AIKS Condemns the Planned Violence by Hindutva Groups in Bulandshahar and Attack on Police Post of Chingravati

All India Kisan Sabha condemns the planned attack on Chingravati police post of Bulandshahar and killing of police inspector Subodh Kumar Singh as well as another civilian Sumit. It is also shocking to note that the police officer killed was the investigating officer in the Dadri case where Akhlaque was killed by Gaurakshaks. This points to a pre-meditated murder and the culprits must be brought to book. The violence unleashed in the name of the cow is a well-planned attack by extremist hindutva forces of the Sangh Parivar with a specific aim of targeting the minorities. They systematically spread a canard that cows were killed by the Muslims and sought to incite violence with propaganda of hate against the Muslim community. This is another example of anarchy under the rule of the Yogi Adityananth led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP government has provided patronage and protection to the Gaurakshaks. Efforts are on to destroy communal harmony for petty political benefits.

The attacks are aimed at spreading hatred and communal polarization. AIKS demands that there should be a judicial inquiry under the supervision of Supreme Court of India on this incident and other cases of mob lynching, proper police protection for all the investigating officers dealing with lynching cases, implementation of Supreme Court direction to the Central Government on a law against lynching and special fast track courts for dealing with lynching cases. There should be proper inquiry in this particular case and firm action should be taken against those who have perpetrated this crime.

AIKS calls upon all the democratic, secular forces across the country to join together to fight against this communal forces spreading hatred and destroying communal harmony.
